What Skills I Have Learned

1 / Communication Skills

At Yao Noi Island, I have to interview many locals and learn about their daily life which develops my communication skills.

2 / Photographing

After this field trip, we had to make a book that summarized all the knowledge that we had learned and because of that I took thousands of pictures and that is a great practice for me.

3 / Leadership

In this project, my teacher assigned me as a leader of the group, and in order to complete the book I developed good leadership skills.

The Full Story

Yao Noi Island is a small fisherman's island located in the southern part of Thailand. This island was selected by the Energy Regulatory Commission Thailand to be a location to experience clean energy using solar cells. My friends and I were assigned to go to Yao Noi Island and learn about the local life which will help the commission understand the local perspective on clean energy and how to install solar cells without interrupting their daily life. On the other side, we have to learn about solar cells and then inform the local about it.
